"God loves a cheerful giver"
[2 Corinthians 9:7]
Saints Mary and Joseph's Catholic Church survives through the generosity of the People of God. We are a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. The Biblical notion of tithing is a 10% gift of a person's income (before taxes taken out). The Catholic Church recommends giving 5% to your parish and 5% to some other charity of your choice. While you may not be able to give a full 10% at this point in your life any support you can give is greatly appreciated. Remember that the widow's mite (Luke 21:1-4) was worth more than all others for she gave in a sacrificial way.

If you have never given to charity before it can be a scary thing to consider starting. However, trust that when we give to God, we receive a hundredfold in return(Mark 10:31).
